Reasons to shop from us
Our business involves portrait photography, hand crafted jewelry, lapidary stones, and other handcrafted items.
Our portrait photography is located in Salt Lake City, UT. Unlike other portrait photography businesses, ours has different approach. Instead of costing a fortune to get the prints you want or to have the photographer at your special function, we charge a per hour rate for photo sessions in the Salt Lake and Davis County areas of Utah. Outside these areas, if you desire our photography services, there is an additional fee per mile travelled.
For weddings we also have video services which start at $15 per hour (one hour minimum). Any touch up or color changes to photos can made for a $15.00 per hour fee (one hour minimum).
Beginning August we will be adding our digital backdrop service. You can have your family portrait taken with a blank backdrop and then your images will be computer editted into beautiful scenes. There will be waterfalls, ocean scenes, and some of the beautiful mountain scenery which was seen in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. For a fee of $15.00 per hour we can transfer your images into these scenes.
Our handcrafted jewelery is made Melanie, who grew up with rock hound and jewelry maker father Deryl Schertz. We use natural stones, wood, glass, and metal products in our products. Our prices are reasonable because we keep our costs low. Caitlin and Heather are in training to make jewelry as well, and later in the year we hope to add custom silver work jewelry to our line.
The lapidary stones we have are both slabs and chunks. We have a lot of quality pieces which will be added as time allows, so check back often.
As a Celtic Pagan, I also believe in the healing properties of stones. All of our stone products are treated with loving respect of Reiki healing.
